Our Weekend Work

Here is a picture of the bathroom after it was finished. Aaron and his Dad did a great job!

Over the weekend, a lot of work was accomplished at the house. Below is a picture of the living room.

Here is Aaron putting tile down in the guest bathroom. It looks amazing!

Green, green, and green. This is the play room for Baby Acree. Aaron's Mom kept busy painting all of these rooms over the weekend. I helped as much as I could. This coming weekend, the hard wood floors will be finished.

The foyer is now painted! I was brave and stayed away from a plain color :)

This is the living room. It is two different colors of tan. Of course, I will not do any of the edging, that is better left to someone with a steady hand, Marcy.

Since the kitchen is going to be a red color, the primer for it is blue. So first, the kitchen was blue!

House is ready for paint!

Today the boys got to work on the house. The foyer, kitchen, living room, bathroom, closet, and the playroom are ready for paint. The first picture is the foyer. This week will be spent putting texture on the ceilings and the walls in the foyer.

House Update

This weekend Aaron plans on getting a lot accomplished in the house. His parents will be up next weekend to help start the painting process. We are so lucky that they are coming to help us! We need all the help we can get to try and get the house finished this spring. My weekend plans include picking out paint and shopping! I love extra long weekends. Happy Valentine's and President's Day!!

Here is the bathroom with drywall. Last coat of mud went on tonight. This weekend, Aaron plans to prime the bathroom walls so we will be ready for paint! Yea!

Baby BOY Acree

We went to the doctor yesterday and were able to find out the sex of the baby. Set to arrive will be a little baby boy! Baby Acree had a heartbeat of 158 and was very busy during the ultrasound. He was sitting butt down and punching his fist and sucking the entire time. It was really neat to see. All of the measurements fit to the size he should be, so we will continue to pray for a healthy baby. The ultrasounds pictures were not as clear as I would have liked but I will post them later once they are scanned in.

Weekend Work

Over the weekend, Aaron got some work accomplished. The downstairs bathroom and closet are drywalled and ready to get drywall mud. All of the plaster in the playroom is officially gone and new electrical work is finished. Starting this week, insulation and new drywall will be put in the playroom along with electrical work in Aaron's office. The move in date has been moved up to the month of mid-May instead of mid-June :)
