I couldn't be more thrilled to be the proud owner of a tan house rather than a blue house. It is looking like our newest home improvement project will be done by the end of the week. Next up, a front porch. I will post before and after pictures of our house when it is finished. Some people think the color blue is perfect for our style of house, but I was more than ready for a change!

Blue siding is good. But I must agree with you that picking a neutral color can give a good balance to the character of your house. And aside from that, it's more practical because paler colors can be easily get dirty.
