First Official Day of Summer Break

Today marked the first official day of summer break! This morning we didn't have to wake up at any certain time, but Aaron did! Even though it was our first weekday to sleep in J was wide awake at 6:15. We were able to get a lot accomplished today due to our early rise. We played, watched Mickey Mouse, ate breakfast, read books, ran to Wal-Mart, visited the bank, planted some flowers, ate lunch, went on a 3 mile walk, signed up for baby swim and stroller class, took a nap, did some cleaning, played some more, picked Madeline up from school, cooked Daddy dinner, ate dinner, played some more, went to Ace Hardware, and finally enjoyed Jayden's first ice cream cone of the season! Busy day to say the least. Maybe he will sleep good tonight! Let's hope! Jayden was so happy to play outside today. He loves his swing that his Nana bought for him.

He thought it was funny that I would hold up the ice cream cone for him to eat. He would laugh each time.

Mmmm, mmmm, good! Give me more!! He loved the ice cream.

Yum! Jayden's first ice cream cone of the season! He loved it--but made a few funny faces in between bites.

He got a new chair while we were at Ace Hardware. I couldn't pass up the sale ($4.99) plus it is the same style as our chairs. It made the perfect seat for an outside snack!
