Out at the Farm

Deer season is creeping up on us. Bow season offically begins this weekend. What does that mean for me? Aaron gone all of the time out looking for the perfect deer to mount in his "man room". Maybe he will get lucky this year like he did a few years ago. While he was out practicing, I took a few pictures of Jayden. Only a few more years until Jayden will be out there practicing with his bow and arrow!

2 Month Checkup

On 9-24-09 Jayden went to the doctor for his 2 month checkup. He weighs 12 lbs 5 oz and is 24 inches long! He sure is growing. While we were there he had to get 4 shots, two in each leg. Poor baby! He cried, but as soon as I held him, he was fine. I had tears in my eyes too. It was really sad to see him so helpless! Next appointment is December 3. Here is his picture from when we got home from the doctor.

The Nap Nanny

For the last few weeks, Jayden has had a stuffy nose. Even though it was his first, I am sure it won't be the last! We had been propping his bed up and night, but he kept sliding down to the end. As we were looking through a magazine one day, we saw an ad for the Nap Nanny. You can see it at http://www.napnanny.com/ I didn't buy it from that site. I found a different place with free shipping!

It is a little sleeper that is at a 30 degree angle and is kind of shaped like a car seat. I kept reading about it and decided to buy it. It is suppose to help with all different sorts of problems. When it came in the mail, it was Jayden's nap time. He slept soundly for 2 hrs. The first night we tried it, he woke up for a nighttime feeding, but when I put him back to bed, he snuggled right up and went to sleep. I didn't have to bring him to bed with me or keep going back to his room every 10 minutes. Hopefully, he will continue to enjoy his little nap nanny--if not maybe the next baby will 10 years from now!

Buddy Boy is getting BIG

Baby Jayden is growing! Last week, I had to take him to the doctor for his cold. He weighed 11 lbs!
He is starting to act more like a little person each day. He smiles when we do and he is getting strong!

House #5

Well, we did it again. Less than a year has passed since we bought house #4 and now we are proud owners of house #5. I know, we are crazy. We will NOT be living in this one! Last week, I went to an auction and bought this beauty to become our first rental property. You know how Aaron gets when he sees a junky house, he just has to have it! Hopefully, this house will not take him to long to flip.
The ugly kitchen. On the plus--it has kitchen cabinets. They are going to need A LOT of bleach to get clean!

The nasty living room. The carpet is already been pulled up. From what I hear these people had a lot of cats. YUCK!
I will post when the product is finished but now you know what will consume us in our "spare time". I mean we both only have full time jobs, a new baby, football season, hunting season, shopping trips, UIS classes, and family to fill our time as it is. Oh well, it's better than having nothing to do, right?
