State Fair Fun

We headed to the state fair last night with the kids. Adan and Livia were there so Jayden was very happy!

We got a lot of "oohs" and "awes" from the crowds of people and even a "wow, triplets!" from one lady.

Both of us took Jayden down the giant slide.

After a scary motorcycle ride he calmed down and enjoyed the jeep!

He rode the wiggly worm with Adan and Livia.

The twins slept on and off and enjoyed the lights.

I took J on his first roller coaster that was pretty fast for a kiddie ride!

$5 corn dog
$5 lemon drink
$3 Ice cream
$25 in tickets
$10 on the giant slide

All for a night of family fun! I think next year Jayden will get a Megapass for his birthday!

Little Fish

Jayden and I hit up the waterpark twice this week!

He had so much fun and even made his way down the big orange slide you can see from the interstate! He definitely loves the water!

Happy Birthday!!!

Last weekend I celebrated my birthday with some friends in Nashville so this weekend was a simple, relaxing weekend at home.

I enjoyed my day by sleeping in until 9 which never happens, enjoyed a little shopping with *one* child who was very well behaved and had a nice dinner on the deck.

We had a little cake and "Happy Birthday" song for lunch. Jayden thought it was for him and was the least bit thrilled to hear the dreaded song. Amelia didn't mind!! Adalyn was napping so she missed out!

Thanks to all my friends and family who called, sent a text or messaged me on Facebook. I enjoyed the birthday love.

And as Tim McGraw said,

"My next thirty years will be the best years of my life."

Looking forward to the adventures this year brings! I think it is going to be wild!!

7 Months Old

Sweet girl and sweet pea are seven months old!!

1. We think they weigh around 14 and 15 pounds. I will check tomorrow! Adalyn is still a bit bigger than Amelia, but Amelia now has a lot more hair than her sister!
2. The girls are wearing size 6 month clothes, but can still fit into 3 month outfits. Diapers are still size 2.
3. People still ask if one of them is a boy despite their pink wardrobe and hair bows. Oh, well!
4. These two are still binki babies, but also sleep with little lovies at night. They have helped with the annoying middle of the night wake up calls.
5.No more middle of the night feeding! The babies eat between 4-6 oz. and go between 3 and 4 hours at each feeding.
6. The girls love their milk and veggies! They eat veggies a lot better than fruit. The top favorites are squash, peas, and green beans!
7. Their room upstairs is complete and I love it! They are doing great in their room!!
8. Bedtime routine is back to being awesome!! The girls take a bath, eat a bottle and then off to bed. It is a rare occasion to go into their room after they have been put down for the night. They can find their own binkis at night and are pretty good sleepers. I would like them to wake up at 6 am rather than 5, but we are getting closer!
9. Naps are great too. I can't complain. I hope they are this good when they start the sitter next week!
10. We are so lucky to have these two babies in our family. They are such good little girls and generally are so happy! I have loved my time at home with them this summer. Each month just brings more fun with these two. Looking forward to watching them grow and change!

Best Friends

Tonight when our friend was taking our pictures Jayden said the cutest line ever. We were sitting on the ground, Aaron was holding Adalyn and I was holding Amelia and Jayden ran behind us, hugged both of us at the same time and said, "These are my friends." He kept hugging us and saying that. It was just so sweet.

You are right buddy, we are your friends!

This little guy sure does know how to make his mommy melt even after cleaning up orange icing for a good part of the day because of a little "Jayden fit."

On another note Adalyn and Amelia just looked too cute not to share a pic of them.

Thanks A, J, A & A for being good little models tonight in the 100 degree weather. You all made me one proud and happy momma!!
